Cooler Master konnte sich in diesem Jahr schon mit dem Hyper Z-600 eindrucksvoll in die Gilde der erwähnenswerten Towerkühler eintragen, dieser erste Erfolg war aber scheinbar nur die Overtüre zu mehr. (...) Cooler Master kann sich mit dem V8 CPU-Kühler gut in Szene setzen.
Cooler Master hat mit dem V8 einen sehr guten und vor allen dingen qualitativ hochwertigen Kühler ins Rennen geschickt. Die Verarbeitung ist vorbildlich und das neue Kühldesign kann die von Cooler Master gestellten Erwartungen erfüllen.
Der Cooler Master V8 weiß zu beeindrucken, optisch und technisch. Die Kühlleistung bei 1800 U/min ist enorm für eine Luftkühlung. (...) Cooler Master hat hier einen hochwertigen, nicht alltäglichen CPU-Kühler geschaffen der zu überzeugen weiß.
Cooler Master legt noch mal nach - und das richtig! Der V8 offeriert eine fabelhafte Performance ab 1200 Touren. Wer auf der Suche nach einem extrem Leistungsfähigen Kühler ist, kommt an dem V8 sicherlich nicht vorbei. Auch die Leistung im gedrosselten Zustand ist ausreichend, um mit den heutigen Topkühlern mitzuhalten!
Cooler Master hat mit dem V8 ganze Arbeit geleistet und das nicht nur bezogen auf die coole Optik des Kühlers. Auch die Kühlleistung und geringe Lautstärke können sich sehen oder wie im Fall des letzt genannten hören lassen.
Nach langem Warten haben wir mit dem Coolermaster V8 nun wieder eine neue Kühlleistungsreferenz. Viel Material hat der Hersteller hierfür investiert und dieses auch sehr gut verarbeitet. Auch der Lieferumfang ist einem Top-Kühler würdig und das Montagesystem gibt dem hohen Lebendgewicht sicheren Halt.
We have to give the Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler the innovation award as we have never seen a design like this. It also seems that this unique modular fin arrangement has something going for it as the V8 CPU Cooler did better than most of the coolers we have tested in the past.
Overall, I was very impressed with this cooler, the design was magnificent and the performance was much better than I was expecting it to be. I would suggest that anyone who is looking for a new cooling solution to try this cooler out, or to anyone looking to begin down the overclocking road.
The Coolermaster V8 CPU cooler performed very well under testng. It proved that we can have great cooling capacity with quietness as well as having a CPU cooler that was asthetically pleasing for those with window mods on their cases.
To sum it all up, Cooler Master's new V8 CPU cooler is BIG, both in physical size and performance, yet leaves a relatively small acoustic footprint. The included fan speed controller is a nice addition and the mounting solution is very robust, if a bit fussy to install.
The Cooler Master V8 mixes a rare blend of aesthetics and performance that is often pined for but rarely achieved. Did the V8 succeed? I would say definitely so. The performance was superb for a chip notorious for pouring off heat. The aesthetics are unique and interesting without being over the top.

Quant au Cooler Master V8, le constructeur taïwanais nous propose un modèle que l’on qualifiera de polyvalent, eu égard au 100W de charge, de relativement discret, de bien fini et bien pensé tant par son design que par ses accessoires (on pense au potentiomètre).
If you need high quality cooler for 24/7 CPU overclock we suggest you to take Cooler Master V8 into serious consideration. If you decide to purchase V8 model, and want to achieve maximum performances with this cooler, we should mention that you could buy one (or better two) additional 120mm fans.
Also, I was very impressed by its cooling performance. 51C at load on an overclocked Phenom II is amazing. I have no doubt it would also perform very well on an i7 setup. So really, this cooler is a great choice for overclocked systems.
As mentioned in the video review the Cooler Master V8 is an excellent choice for a cooling option for any of the latest demanding CPU's today. (...) For any gaming rig or PC enthusiast looking to overclock their system without water cooling this is a terrific easy alternative that you cant go wrong with.
In the end, I was very impressed with the Cooler Master V8's performance. Using a total of 8 heat pipes, it makes a strong impression on any enthusiast's heart. The build was solid, installation was a breeze, and it looks very impressive inside of the tower.
At low speed the stock fan is noticeable less noisy, performance is ok at best. Equipped with the GlobalWin NCB the Hyper 212 proves superior by almost 4°C (...).
Looking at the cooling performance alone, the V8 is an exceptional product producing consistent results at both stock and overclocked speeds and beating all the competition to stake its claim as the best CPU cooler, to date, in terms of the figures, that we have reviewed.
Der Cooler Master V8 legt einen ordentlichen Auftritt auf die Bretter. So macht die Verpackung schon Lust auf mehr und der Lieferumfang ist ebenfalls ordentlich. Die Verarbeitung des Kühlers ist gut und der Aufbau recht einzigartig.
The aluminum fins are connected by copper heatpipes which connect into a solid base. This nickel plated copper base is extremely smooth which allows excellent contact between it and the CPU. This cooler is the next best thing to water cooling!
