Das Cooler Master HAF 912 ist das Kleinste der HAF Serie. Seine Größe von Außen spiegelt sich jedoch keineswegs im Inneren wieder. Die Hardwareeinbaumöglichkeiten lassen selbst leistungsstarke Systeme zu. Mit einer maximalen Grafikartenlänge von 39cm ist dieses Gehäuse bestens für große, starke Karten geeinet. Wem 27cm für seine Grafikkarte ausreichen, hat eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten seine Festplatten einzubauen.

In terms of design the case has a lot going for it. The tool free installation of drives is great and the ability to install up to 9 hard drives when SSD's are included is fantastic. There are plenty of cooling options and the front panel connectors are well placed for easy access. As we mentioned earlier it would have been great if Cooler Master had put the standoffs in place at the factory or used thumbscrews for the PCIe cards but these are minor issues.
The cooling performance and noise levels of the HAF 912 Plus are impressive, it is one of the quietest ATX cases we have tested recently and performance exceeded our expectations given the default fan configuration. That said we would have liked to see Cooler Master include a fan at the top of the chassis, or even bundle an extra one with the case so that consumers could choose between the side and top mounting position.

The HAF 912 is an well engineered case that honestly does not deserve the "budget" moniker, but it's pricing will put it there. The fan and cooling options are amazing given the small size of the mid tower case form factor, however they even managed to make it wider so that advanced cable management could be performed behind the motherboard tray, and increasing it's potential.
The inclusion of a flexible hard drive chassis that is removable in the event you have larger video cards is an excellent execution on the concept of allowing "big things in smaller packages" such that this case allows the big boy video cards to now reside in a case that is much more portable. LAN parties now can be subject to the abuse that the uber long video cards provide, by allowing a gamer to gracefully install and adequately ventilate the most powerful of video cards, without the need to bring a wagon or dolly to carry their machine!
If you don't need the biggest, baddest case on the market, but you need a high quality enclosure to put your high end components into, The HAF 912 fit the bill PERFECTLY!

Optisch steht der kleine den großen auch in nichts nach, er wirkt vielleicht sogar noch etwas "böser" als die anderen Modelle.
Die Verarbeitung ist durchweg gut und zeigt auch viel Liebe zum Detail, wie zum Beispiel der komplett schwarze Innenraum, mit schwarzen Schrauben und sogar schwarzen 2,5'' Adaptern. Auch wenn die Front des Case mit viel Kunststoff bestückt ist gelingt es Cooler Master mit Mattierungen ein wirklich gutes Look and Feel zu generieren, das vielleicht sogar noch einen Tick besser ist als beim HAF 922.

The HAF 912 was designed to give you the best bang for your buck when it came to features and performance. If you’re looking for a case with all of the features and want it at an affordable chassis, then the Cooler Master HAF 912 is great for you. The case is well built and would make a great starter case for someone.
