ußerdem wurden mit Stahl und Kunststoff zwar praktische, aber nicht unbedingt sehr hochwertig aussehende Materialien verwendet. Die fehlenden Eingriffe in den Seitenteilen, die ein Öffnen etwas erschweren, ist ansonsten das einzige Merkmal, welches negativ aufgefallen ist.
Überrascht hat uns der intelligente Aufbau des Gehäuses, durch den trotz der geringen Größe zwei lange High-End Grafikkarten und ein etwa 17 cm hoher CPU-Kühler verbaut werden können. Wer noch mehr Platz im Innenraum benötigt, kann einen von zwei Festplattenkäfigen entfernen. Durch den Einbaurahmen und die Thumb-Screws ist auch der restliche Einbau der Hardware schnell zu erledigen. Dank der Lüftersteuerung können die beiden mitgelieferten 120-mm-Lüfter sehr leise betrieben werden, so dass auch bei ansonsten leisen Komponenten kein Austausch der Lüfter vorgenommen werden muss. Durch den großen bequemen Griff lässt sich das Gehäuse zudem sehr leicht transportieren und dürfte damit für häufige LAN-Party-Gänger sehr interessant sein. Da der Griff mit einfachen Schrauben am Gehäusedeckel befestigt wird, kann er aber auch problemlos entfernt werden, um die benötigte Höhe des Gehäuses noch weiter zu reduzieren.

This case is one of the best gaming micro ATX cases out there because of its excellent features and reasonable price. This cases accepts many large fans, comes with a black interior, has a hole of the motherboard tray for the coolers retention plate, tooless design, carry handle and much more.
The NZXT Vulcan is the perfect alternative to the full-size gaming PC. The case is well built and screams quality like most offerings from NZXT, if your hardware will fit inside the smallish NZXT Vulcan the case is a winner.
Mini-tower cases full of features are starting to emerge, and NZXT Vulcan is a good contender at its price point (USD 70 suggested, but you will surely see it being sold by less), providing a good value for the user looking a small case for building a small yet powerful computer.
NZXT offers quite a few space saving features that allow for monster GPU power in this Crafted Series entry. For around $70 to get one to your door, the Vulcan sips money from your wallet and can keep all of that horsepower under control, even under air cooling.

Even if you are not a fan of smaller form factor cases you cannot help but see the appeal here. The simple lines joined by the mesh drive bays do say gaming but also say sleek. This is what we have come to see with many people that are producing small cases, they seems to put way too much flash and bling into them. Not in the case of NZXT and the new Vulcan. Even my wife though it was sweet looking. The Vulcan has all the room needed to build an awesome gaming rig. There is even room for Radeon HD 5970. We found the NZXT Vulcan on a couple etailers’ sites going for just over $70. Not bad for a quality small form factor cases.
At $70 USD, you really can't complain about the price and the value you get here. Das Vulcan ist ein kompaktes Gehäuse das aber ausreichend Platz für schnelle Systeme mit leistungsstarken Komponenten bietet. Lautstärke und Kühlleistung liegen auf einem guten Niveau und lassen sich dank der Lüftersteureung an die gegebenen Erfordernisse anpassen. Dennoch empfiehlt es beim Einsatz von Hochleistungskomponenten auch die noch freien Montageplätze mit Lüftern zu bestücken. Der optionale Tragegriff ist eine nette Dreingabe und ist stabil genug, ein vollständiges System zumindest kurzzeitig daran herum zu tragen. Das NZXT Vulcan ist wahrlich ein schickes Gehäuse das vor allem auf LAN-Gänger abzielt. Doch das fällt auch negativ auf, denn nicht jeder hat einen extra PC für die LAN indem nur das wichtigste zum Zocken ist. Beim Einsatz von mehren Festplatten, Grafikkarten und einem Quadcore könnte nicht nur zu Platzproblemen sondern auch zu Hitzeproblemen führen.
Die Seitenteile sitzen sehr fest und besitzen keine Griffe an denen man sie herausziehen könnte, weshalb sich dies als etwas knifflig erweist. Hier muss man auf die Wölbung zurückgreifen, was nicht unbedingt ein Weltuntergang ist. Verarbeitet ist der Tower wie man es erwartet: stabile Materialen und qualitativ gut.

The NZXT Vulcan is the best m-ATX case I have ever seen and it even rivals a couple full size ATX cases out there. NZXT are putting themselves in the position to tip the gaming chassis market scales in their favor.

Once again, NZXT has come out with another quality case. They have provided an amazing, high end computer case with the intention of making the mobile gamers happy, and they’ve succeeded greatly.

The NZXT Vulcan is a great case really, I truly like it a lot and there’s plenty for you to like as well. The Vulcan has a lot of room even for large sized video cards, but yet the case is nice and small so you can easily take it with you using the included carrying handle. Aesthetically the case is very nice looking, and it’s well made. The handle on top of the case will easily hold the weight of the case so you can transport it with no problems or worries. The Vulcan is an excellent case overall with little or no real issues.

One thing I would of rather liked to see was the on/off switch for the LED's be at the from of the case instead with the fan controller. The screw less rail design and dust filters are a nice touch, however the lack of a rear 92mm fan means you have to get one. PCWizKid always wants proper airflow, and even though the NZXT has lots of options for optional fans the rear fan is a must. The side panel 200mm optional fan is not really needed however its there if you want to cool down the system further, however careful that you don't add a CPU cooler that is 165mm or larger with it. Other than than its a well rounded micro ATX gaming case that can allow you to build the latest an greats gaming rig and take it on the go!
If you happen to go to LAN parties regularly, want the ultimate portability and are planning to put two large VGA cards into the rig, the Vulcan is the one and only choice and luckily delivers on these features quite nicely. Mehr …Weniger …

I'd recommend the NZXT Vulcan to anyone looking to build a nifty little LAN rig. Furthermore I'd suggest the case to anyone using mATX hardware. If the Vulcan was slightly larger I'd recommend it to anyone, so hopefully NZXT will make a larger version. Good job on a great mATX case, NZXT!
Niiveau des finitions, parfait, rien à redire, absence de voyant (rouge et bleu ou vert) pour indiquer la charge du disque dur et la mise sous tension du PC, plastique un peu léger pour la façade mais rien de grave, et en prime pour aller à la LAN PARTY, une poignée peut se fixer dessus pour transporter la tour, et le tout pour moins de 60e ! que demande le peuple
Ce Vulcan est à nos yeux une véritable petite bombe. Il est très compact, ne pèse pas lourd, dispose d'une poignée de transport, et de nombreuses fonctionnalités qui en font un Must Have pour les FANS du Micro ATX.

Das NZXT Vulcan ist ein ultra-kompakter MiniTower mit ausreichend Platz für schnelle Systeme mit leistungsstarken Komponenten auf Mini- und Micro-ATX-Basis. Klein, stark, schwarz, stabil, dezent beleuchtet und absolut praktisch ist es eine Bereicherung auf jedem Schreibtisch.

A hugely flexible case with great performance at a very good price point. A few design and build quality tweaks would take it to an even better level but as things stand, it is still an impressive product.
This is a fantastic case. It’s light, stylish, and fits all of my components very efficiently. I have so many more good things to say about this case than bad. This will most likely be the new case I hang on to for years and years, but this time because it’s absolutely ideal for me, not because nothing better pops up on it’s own.
Finally, this case is proposed for around 60 € and is therefore positioned rather well vis-à-vis the competition, with a minimal size. It is ideal for players moving a lot in LAN party.
Altogether, this case is very nice and its portability makes up for any short-comings that the ridiculous mesh side brings. I can see many uses for it and will build a custom rig out of it myself. and I like that it can support many of the higher-end video cards that seem to take up so much space in even a mid-size rig. All in all, this case is worth the money, as long as you’re willing to go all in and go micro.
Overall, we this this case is a great buy for the price. The ventilation is definitely worth it, especially for a mATX case since these typically have pretty poor ventilation. The style of the case also makes it a plus in our books, and it’s all the better incase you opt to use it as a Lan PC.
