Die Entkopplung der Festplatten ist auch eine gute Sache und die Einbaurahmen mit den Schnellverschlüssen runden das ganze noch einmal ab.
Silversones SST-FT01 ist eindeutig der Star unter den neuen Alu-Miditowern, denn er bietet zahlreiche durchdachte Detaillösungen im Inneren, eine hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualität, viel Platz und darüber hinaus ein modernes und stimmiges Belüftungskonzept.
The SilverStone FT01is in some ways, a carefully tuned product; it's airflow, for instance. (...) The unibody construction results in a very light and strong chassis, and this is one feature that won't change or wear out over time. The reduction in number of fasteners pays off in both strength and durability.

Mit dem Fortress hat SilverStone definitiv neue Maßstäbe bei den High End Gehäuse gesetzt und es ist dazu auch noch bezahlbar. Das schlichte Design ist absolut zeitlos, so das man an diesem Gehäuse lange seine Freude haben wird.
In summary, we think this is a terrific product for the exigent user that is willing to pay more to have a top-notch case. The quality from FT01 is really outstanding and we’ve only seen this kind of quality before on aluminum cases above USD 300.

The classic SilverStone design that we have come to want is still present in the Fortress FT01 with its smooth lines and aluminum construction. But was unexpected was the new way of thinking about cooling your system.
The Silverstone Fortress FT01 is a well built and designed chassis. It offers large cooling fans that will affectively cool your hardware without the insane noise levels. The unique uni-body design of the chassis gives it a great look as well as offering a solid platform to build from.
In the end, I would put this case into the enthusiast market for all its potential and features. I think that the Silverstone FT01B-W is a great case because of all the unique features, great air flow, ease of installing hardware, and also it's very cool looking design.
Silverstone FT01 Fortress pulls our Tweak'O Meter to a stone-sure 9.0 points for a casing in the classical SilverStone design that looks very cool. The Fortress comes in several models and colours which gives a range of flexibility, and the price very well reflects the components that the case consists of as well as the design.
The SilverStone Fortress FT01 is a beautiful mid-tower enclosure. The all aluminum build quality is excellent resulting in a light weight, yet sturdy case. The FT01 comes with three high quality case fans that produce positive air pressure and deliver excellent cooling with very little noise while helping to keep dust out.
The SilverStone Fortress FT01 is easily the luxury sports car of the mid-tower's that rivals some full tower designs. The simple elegance of the soft lines and tight fitted construction screams quality and perfection… Finally we have the positive air pressure cooling system and all of its benefits.
So, to answer our previous question: No, the FT01 is not just a Temjin TJ07 packed into a mid tower chassis. It is much more than that, standing on its own merits and is one of the very best mid tower cases you'll find.
Overall, this case was a joy to work with, and one of the best-looking cases I’ve worked with to date. The brushed aluminum looks nice, without the fingerprint issues that a smooth-polished finish would have.
The SilverStone Fortress FT01 doesn't outdo the Temjin TJ10 if you're after an extended ATX enclosure, need a surplus of room, or require dedicated cooling for your graphics card(s), but if you're just looking for one hell of a well-designed and well-built desktop chassis, the Fortress FT01 rings that bell.
Everything considered, the SilverStone FT01 is certainly a chassis worth some serious thought if you can afford the asking price. It offers a sleek, powerful design and is packed with extra features.
SilverStone has taken the idea of a "clean room" such as used in the manufacture of computer chips to the case level first with the Temjin TJ07 and now with the Fortress FT01. The case kept the computer running cool, with positive air pressure driving air out of the case instead of causing it to linger and cause dust bunnies.
Overall then, the Fortress is a really impressive case. When it comes to the outlooks, it nicely follows the well proven lines of the TJ07. I can't imagine anyone not liking the thick aluminum outer shell with its lines.
