Once released from the packaging, the Scout lives up to its name, in terms of appearance. The military design theme is not some cheesy copy of past hardware; it's a modern, functional construct. (...) I'd say, whoever designed the Scout got it right.
In summary, we were very impressed by CM Storm Scout. It provides a top-notch quality at a very affordable price, being the kind of product we like to recommend. If you are a regular user or a high-end user, it doesn’t matter: you will love this case.
The Cooler Master Storm is an excellent gaming case, made in the same spirit as the Antec 900, with a focus on tough construction, lots of mass, and military styling. But the Storm goes further with its nod towards portability, because it’s compact, not just because it’s got a handle.
The CM Storm line has another worthy soldier to add to their line-up. Without a doubt this is the best-suited chassis I have ever come across for LAN gaming. With the security features of "Storm Guard" and the rugged construction you, would really have to work at it to do any damage to your prized PC.
Overall, I thought the Scout was a very capable case. It's able to hold anything you want to put in it and the superior build quality makes it more than worth the price, and then some.
Overall I'm very pleased with the Cooler Master Storm Scout. This case continues with the same level of quality and innovation that people have come to expect from Cooler Master. Its compact design is favorable for LAN gamers, but the interior still provides ample room for a completely loaded system.
The second product line Storm is once again a true success, and even begins to wonder if Cooler Master delivers a days any product, as yet, between the ATCS 840, the HAF 932, and the Sniper the Scout, we are in front of products that reap the highest rewards. So yes, once again, CM Storm Signs excellent box.

Continuing their CM Storm product range, Coolermaster have delivered a midi tower case that's extremely appealing to the general public ... especially gamers. If you compare it to an Antec 900 ... I would choose the CM Storm Scout.
I like the design of the Scout and the overall design of the whole Storm series. I feel that CoolerMaster has risen above the level of the average case by using the design ideas of people who actually use these type of cases. The carrying handle allows the consumer to lug it around with ease.

The Cooler Master Storm (CM Storm) Scout is an affordable offering for the gamer brand. (...) The CM Storm Scout is a great case in many different ways. The Front I/O panel is a great touch with lots of accessible connections. The Scout is a smaller case making it much easier to transport. The handles are very sturdy and perfect for quick moving action and convenience.
The Cooler Master Scout Case is very similar to the Sniper and once again feature for feature one of the very best mid-tower cases on the market. With three fans (2x140mm & 1x120mm) it has excellent air circulation, tooless design, quality build, excellent styling, all black, etc. It even comes with an integrated handle at the top.
Cooler Master set out to create the ultimate LAN party computer case with the Scout and in many respects succeeded with this case. The Scout is relatively lightweight due to the Mid-Tower form factor they used, yet is very sturdy and has carrying handles that can easily take the load.

Das Coolermaster Strom Scout hinterlässt insgesamt einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das schlichte und funktionale Design dürfte ihren Zuspruch finden. Ein Tragegriff ist immer ein Kompromiss zwischen Komfort und Optik, wurde bei diesem Gehäuse aber optimal gelöst.

Zusätzlich sorgen die leisen Lüfter wahlweise mit und ohne LED-Beleuchtung für einen angenehmen Luftstrom im Gehäuse.
Ein Sieg auf ganzer Linie ist beim CM Scout die sehr hohe Verarbeitungsqualität. Keine scharfen Kanten, keine Lackschäden, nichts was dem Design in die Quere kommen könnte.
Cooler Master has a real winner in their Storm Scout Case. While I like the Storm Sniper, it was clearly a 'stay at home case'. The Scout brings everything that I loved in the Sniper Case and puts it in a very portable midtower package. Right down to the case top doubling as a fairly robust handle.
Mit dem SCOUT von CM-Storm bekommt man ein optisch und auch qualitativ hochwertiges Gehäuse. Dabei spricht das SCOUT hauptsächlich die Gamer, Modder und LAN Gemeinde an, was sich durch die verschiedenen Elemente, wie dem Tragesystem oder dem schwarzen Innenraum samt Window bemerkbar macht.

Der zweite Streich von CM Storm hinterläßt zunächst einmal einen sehr gefälligen Eindruck. Das Scout Gehäuse kann optisch durchaus Akzente setzen und verfügt über eine hohe Verarbeitungsqualität.

Good airflow and the option to be able to change out CPU coolers with out removing the motherboard from the case are just a couple of things that I feel needs to be commonplace in a case. And I am happy to see CM offer both of these to the consumer.
The Scout covers many bases that need to be looked at, like dust filters, ease of use, weight, strength and durability. It weighs in at about 28 lbs loaded and 19 lbs empty, making it fairly easy to move around. This is a great mid-Tower case that will hold all of your components, including full-sized video cards

Genau wie sein "großer" Bruder (CM Storm Sniper) konnte auch der Scout auf voller Linie überzeugen. Die Qualität und Funktionalität sind, außer kleinen Einschränkungen, wunderbar vom Sniper in den Scout übertragen worden.
Mit dem CM Storm Scout Gehäuse ist Hersteller Cooler Master ein wirklich gutes Gehäuse gelungen. Das bullige Design des Gehäuses ist vom Hersteller wirklich passend gewählt. Es sind gerade die Features, wie z.B. das StormGuard System und die beiden Haltegriffe, die das Scout-Gehäuse zum perfekten Begleiter auf jeder Lan-Party machen.
So the question is, would I recommend this? Of course I would, I would have to be crazy not to. (...) With all these features and more this should definitely put the Cooler Master Scout Gaming Chassis near the top of the list for any LAN party gamer or enthusiast.
The CM Scout really blew us away, with it's nice exterior and interior design. We can't say enough good things that CM implemented in the case. From the nicely designed handles to the tool less drive rails of its interiors, the Scout has to be one of the most complete mid tower case we've reviewed so far.
Final thoughts on this then, well the CM Storm Scout seems to perform very well and for the price it has at the moment of the review, around 85 Euro, it is a very good computer case with nice features and great design.
The Scout comes with one of the most complete and best working tool-less systems that we have seen. That is pretty amazing considering that the Scout is deemed a mid-grade case in the mid-tower class.
This tower was fantastic to build in. The quality of the Storm series products has been fantastic, all the way down to the accessories kit. There is a lot more room to tuck wires than a normal mid-tower. The gamer orriented extras, such as the StormGuard, and carrying handle are very nice to have.

Mit 8,7 Kilogramm ist das Scout für ein Stahl-Gehäuse erstaunlich leicht und trotzdem stabil. Der fair bemessene Preis von 79,90 Euro (Caseking) betont den guten Eindruck und hebt das Gamer-Gehäuse nochmals von der Konkurrenz ab. Auch die Verarbeitung weiß zu gefallen, kommt jedoch nicht an die Konkurrenz aus dem Hause Lian Li heran. So sind uns keine Stellen bekannt, an denen potentielle Verletzungen erlitten werden können. Das Kühlkonzept inklusive den zahlreichen Staubfiltern ist ebenfalls eine sinnvolle Ergänzung. (...) Vor allem die weitgehende schraubenfreie Montage lässt nicht nur Gamer von der nächsten LAN-Party träumen und erleichtert den Einbau enorm. Insgesamt überzeugt das CM Storm Scout, jedoch trüben marginale Details das ansonsten sehr gute Gesamtbild. Für rund 80 Euro bekommt der Käufer eine sehr gute Ausstattung gepaart mit einer effizient gestalteten Belüftung und einer guten Verarbeitungsqualität.
