The Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid-Tower case is an excellent choice for gamers, enthusiasts, or anybody who wants to have a great looking case while also keeping their components cool.
The HAF922 has broken all these rules. We not only get our cake as well as being allowed to eat it too. Cooler Master wisely chose the route of making the chassis wider than the norm which gives it the abilities to swallow it all up. For such a small footprint we are treated with a virtual chasm to work in.
I would like to say at this point it has been a real pleasure working inside the HAF 922. There are no sharp edges to worry about, there is an abundance of included user friendly features, and the HAF 922 does provide very adequate airflow as CoolerMaster ships it and there is no real need for extra fans in my opinion.
Overall, I highly recommend this case for anyone looking to start a new build and wants a quality case able to deliver the right amount of performance and satisfaction. The HAF 922 has followed in the footsteps of its big brother, the HAF932, with a sound design, excellent airfow and rugged good looks.
I expected the 922 HAF to have good heat dissipation results, so its outstanding thermal performance only made it sweeter. I had also fully expected it to be another noisy case, but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it really was.
If you are a fan of the HAF 932 but want something a little smaller the 922 is perfect for you, high air flow and lots of space in a well layed out design should make the 922 very popular with the gaming crowd. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few popping up at LAN Partys very soon!
Overall, the HAF mini is an exceptional mid-tower case that is full of many features that many computer enthusiasts desire in a case. The black exterior provides a sexy yet rugged appeal. The quick tool-less installation for nearly every component made installation a snap.
The HAF 922 is a shiny example of what many people want in a mid-sized gaming case. It has rugged good looks that we saw evidence of in the HAF 932. But unlike the 932 the 922 is lighter and a little shorter.
In summary, HAF 922 is a good case, in some aspects being superior than HAF 932 (thumbscrews for fastening daughter boards, dust filters, on/off switch for frontal fan light, extra slot).

The case offers excellent cooling with up to 7 fans on a mid-tower case. Cooler Master has taken nearly everything into account with the HAF 922 Mid Tower case including water cooling, long video cards, proper wire management and a really interesting look.

Cooler Master seems to have found a way to leave steel unfinished without worrying about rust and corrosion. While not quite as good looking as brushed aluminum, it's probably the next best thing appearance-wise.

Cooler Master konnte uns ja schon mit dem 932 Tower aus der HAF Serie überzeugen und hat sich nun auch beim kleinen Bruder dem 922er keine Blöße gegeben. Für einen Midi-Tower verfügt das HAF 922 über ein sehr gutes Platzangebot und ist selbst mit einer Wasserkühlung nicht überfordert.
The pros heavily outweigh the con and as such will be money well spent. Quiet and efficient, neat yet rugged, suave and solid … the HAF 922 is a very good chassis that does well to satisfy the needs of beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Erstaunte uns der Cooler Master HAF932 damals noch mit seinem guten Airflow und der klassen Features, so enttäuschte uns auch sein Nachfolger in dieser Hinsicht in keinster Weise. In einigen Bereichen (...) konnte der "kleine" Bruder dem Großen sogar noch was vormachen und sich damit an die Spitze der beiden Tower setzten.
While there is still room for minor improvement, the HAF 922 gets a great deal right for a decent price, and if you’re shopping for a high-quality case in this price range, it should be on your short list.
When Cooler Master first told us about the HAF 922 we were expecting it to be inferior to the HAF 932 in many aspects. Happily, we’ve been pleasantly surprised, and on many levels the HAF 922 has the better of the HAF 932.

The Cooler Master 922 HAF Case will appeal mainly to performance and enthusiast users. The ease of access for swapping drives, changing CPU coolers without the need to remove the motherboard and plenty of space and extra to route cables give the 922 HAF high marks alone.
The Cooler Master HAF 922 is a solid, no-nonsense chassis that's aimed at the user who requires a sub-£100 case which focuses on airflow and ease of installation.
The price and size reduction of the 922 should have found it inferior to the older HAF 932 but the truth is that this newer mid tower chassis is a great improvement implementing new features and yet still retaining the characteristic shape seen before albeit a little toned down.
Like it's big brother the HAF 932, the Cooler Master HAF 922 Case has the same military theme, great styling, excellent build quality, lots of fans, plenty of drive bays and much more. If you are in the market for a Mid-Tower case be sure to consider this one!

Das Komplettpaket wird durch ausgesprochen gute Verarbeitung und sinnvollen Features zu einem fairen Preisgefüge unterstrichen. Die Probleme des RC-932 wurden allerdings übernommen, auch beim RC-922 Gehäuse fehlt eine Lüftersteuerung, um die Lüfter zu zähmen. Darüber hinaus gestaltet sich die Reigung des Frontlüfters sehr umständlich, denn dazu müßte die Frontverkleidung abgeschraubt werden. Das Thema Staubfilter scheint bei Cooler Master auch keine sonderlich hohe Priorität zu besitzen, diese notwendigen Acessoires fehlen abermals. Insofern darf man unseren Gold Award als nicht sonderlich kratzfest betrachten.

Wie bereits angedeutet, existiert auch eine Version des HAF RC-922 Gehäuses mit Window Seitenteil, das dem ganzen Konstrukt doch deutlich mehr Attraktivität als das Serienseitenteil verleiht, insofern wären die 20 € Aufpreis aus unserer Sicht sinnvoll investiert...

Mit dem kleinen Bruder des HAF 932 hat sich Cooler Master keinerlei Blöße gegeben. Für einen Midi-Tower verfügt das HAF 922 über ein immens geräumiges Platzangebot und ist selbst mit einer Wasserkühlung (Single-Radiator) nicht überfordert. Der Einbau des Radiators wird erheblich erleichtert und unerfahrene Anwender können sich dabei getrost den Griff zur Säge oder zur Bohrmaschine sparen. Auch die anderen Eigenschaften des 922 aus der HAF-Serie wissen mit ihren Akzenten zu überzeugen. Cooler Master hat weder an den Belüftungsmöglichkeiten gespart noch an den verwendeten Gehäuselüftern. Dann wäre da noch die überaus gelungene und sehr einfach zu installierende Festplattenentkopplung und die gut funktionierende Schnellarretierungen der 5 1/4" Laufwerke. Aber auch die Optik des Gehäuses kann durchaus überzeugen. Hier ist allerdings immer der persönliche Geschmack des Anwenders von Bedeutung. Zu guter Letzt wird das positive Bild noch durch den Lieferumfang und die gelungene, tadellose Verarbeitung abgerundet.
