Although the Cooler Master Sileo 500 is a basic looking case, it's far from generic. Cooler Master has included some of their best features in this case, while keeping the retail cost down (...). Don't ask me how they can do it, but Cooler Master has somehow pulled it off.

The Cooler Master Sileo 500 case ended up being one of the quietest cases I have ever used. The Sileo 500 has a simple look with great features and great quality. (...) Other than these minor shortcomings, the Cooler Master Sileo 500 is perfect in every way possible. If you are looking for a simple and feature-filled case that is almost silent, the Sileo 500 should be on your list.
So the Sileo 500 is extremely silent, does a reasonable job of keeping the components cool. The redesigned drive retention brackets are a major improvement over the old design as far as vibration and noise is concerned.
Das Cooler Master Sileo 500 schlussendlich zu beurteilen fällt angesichts des sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses nicht sonderlich schwer. Das Gehäuse bietet viel Ausstattung für wenig Geld und der Anwender muss dabei nicht einmal Abstriche bei der Verarbeitung machen.
Das Sileo 500 von Cooler Master präsentiert sich durch seine speziellen Silent-Features wie z.B. die entkoppelten Festplatten als optimales Office-Gehäuse. Das Gehäuse (...) lohnt sich auf jeden Fall für geräuschbewusste Anwender.
The CoolerMaster did not do that bad of a job considering it only has two placed where air can be brought into the case. (...) I don't think you could hardly go wrong with a case like this if you are wanting silent operation.
The Cooler Mater Sileo 500 is an aesthetically pleasing mid-tower PC case that holds more than enough drives for the average user. It has an effective cooling system and an ingenious noise reduction system that makes this case a good choice for office and home alike.
The Cooler Master Sileo 500 Case is one of a few silent computer options. It has acoustic foam on both side panels, top and bottom. This means that the case is really quiet and it's an excellent option for anyone who requires a quiet computer system.
So what did I think? I thought this case was great. For the low price this case is a great buy, if used right. (...) If you are someone looking to upgrade there home theater PC or just looking for a way to reduce the noise in your office, then this is the case for you and I would have to say that I fully recommend it for those purposes.
Now with all that said, the Cooler Master Sileo 500 gets overall high marks from us for hitting the mark on quality, fit and function. When you factor in the price point of $70, the Sileo 500 becomes an outright great deal.
If, as they say, silence is golden, then Cooler Master chose the wrong color for their Sileo 500 computer case. As this review shows, the Sileo is clearly up to the task of keeping even the most demanding hardware comfortably cool, and doing it at near silence.
The price for the case I will consider as an Entry Level class, on the higher end of the scale, but I think it suits the Entry Level Class just fine.
Overall this case is a great silent mid tower chassis. (...) It offers a very easy, tool-free installation, making it easy for anyone to install.
Cooler Master has accomplished exactly what they have set out to do with the release of the Sileo 500 chassis. Whether or not your choice is to go with or without the PSU, the chassis alone is worth every penny of the asking price.
Once outside the box, I was impressed by the Sileo 500's brushed aluminum finish and minimalist features. Both contribute to an overall appearance of quality and professionalism. This case would work well in an office or at home.
