Dennoch denken wir, dass BitFenix eine sehr gute Balance zwischen Größe und Erweiterbarkeit mit Prodigy gemacht hat. Das Modell fühlt sich extrem gut gebaut an und bietet eine intelligente und gut geplante Interieur.
While my experiences with the BitFenix Prodigy weren't universally positive, they were pretty close. The Prodigy is a pretty auspicious design for BitFenix; their previous cases were generally stellar, but this is a remarkably unique design. It may not be aluminum like Lian Li's mini-ITX enclosures, but its internal design is in many ways light years ahead of what they're doing.
Being fairly compact, with the ability to hold large CPU coolers, an ATX PSU and a long graphics card and standard optical drive, the chassis is the perfect base for a high performance, yet compact and portable system.
Prodigy is characterised in just one word; style. It oozes style, whether you opt for the Midnight Black or Arctic White it will look great next to the TV or desk. Prodigy’s price makes it a no-brainer for those who want high-end kit inside a smaller chassis, and I am pleased to award this case with our prestigious Gold and Amazing Value awards.
Das BitFenix Prodigy hinterlässt insgesamt einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das Konzept dieses Gehäuses unterscheidet sich deutlich von einem Standardmodell und wirkt gut durchdacht. Trotz der recht kompakten Maße lassen sich so fünf Lüfter und bis zu fünf 3,5"- oder sogar neun 2,5"-Festplatten verbauen.
Mit dem ersten Gehäuse im Mini-ITX Format ist BitFenix ein erfolgreicher Start gelungen. Das Prodigy ist ein ideales LAN-Case, als HTPC ist es auch geeignet, aber dafür etwas zu Groß. Dafür ist ausreichend Platz für Gamer die eine größere Grafikkarte einsetzen wollen und für alle die viele Laufwerke verbauen möchten.
Aufgrund seiner Eigenschaften eignet sich dieser Cube wie kaum ein anderer einen potenten Gaming-PC mit guter Kühlung und leisem Betriebsgeräusch auf Basis einer Mini-ITX-Platine aufzubauen.
Das Bitfenix Prodigy wurde als der Heilsbringer im ITX-Segment angekündigt. Vieles wurde eingehalten und sicher nicht zu viel versprochen.
Wer auf der Suche nach einem einzigartigen ITX Tower ist, wird an dem Bitfenix Prodigy nicht vorbei kommen, wobei man sich von der Größe her schon an einem Mini Tower orientieren muss. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Das Mini ITX Gehäuse weiss zu überzeugen. Das Design des Prodigy Gehäuse sieht nicht nur toll aus, sondern bietet obendrein auch noch ausreichend Platz für entsprechende Hardwarekomponente.

Für das Prodigy von Bitfenix spricht die sehr gute und durchweg solide Verarbeitung. Ebenso kann der Würfel in puncto Leistung überzeugen, gerade was die Temperaturen betrifft. Doch auch die verbauten Lüfter agieren sehr leise und verursachen daher keinerlei Störgeräusche.
Wer sich nicht daran stört, dass sein Mini-ITX-Gehäuse etwas größer ausfällt, ist mit dem Prodigy für fast alles gerüstet. Lange Grafikkarten, Tower-Kühler oder ein paar Festplatten mehr - alles kein Problem für das Gehäuse mit den Tragegriffen.
