When you look at the whole package, its hard to deny. The prospect of Having a unique, more power efficient power supply doesn’t have any drawbacks. Even excluding the increased power efficiency of this power supply, they have still included longer cabling for increased compatibility and airflow, a unique appearance, and a rock solid 5 year warranty. I am hard pressed to find drawbacks to this PSU. I frequently leave my system running, to perform any number of tasks I may not want to wait around for, while the power savings are seemingly marginal by comparison, they add up over time. Those savings alone probably won’t warrant everyone rushing out and replacing their existing 80plus; however with a power range from 550 to 1000 watts, you should defiantly consider NZXT’s HALE 90 line up for your power supply.
There really isn't much of a downside to this PSU. It is nice and quiet. Although it can reach a maximum efficiency of almost 92%, NZXT states that typical load will still stay above 90%. This is a very nice PSU that certainly deserves a second look. Mehr …Weniger …

The Hale90 850 watt unit is a very stable, very efficient, and very powerful example of power supply engineering, and there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't run out and buy one posthaste. It certainly doesn't hurt that it looks good, either. It looks different, and different is good today.
First this power supply is 80PLUS Gold Certified meaning it will run at least 87% efficient between 20% and 100% load and 90% efficient at 50% load. 80PLUS Gold is pretty much the highest efficiency rating a power supply can get besides the Platinum rating, but only 3 power supply hold that honor. The single 12V rail design works very well as we saw in our testing. The 12V rail did not fluctuate at all, which is very impressive. Also none of the rails undervolted. The 140mm fan operated very quiet and you could barely hear it.
Efficiency levels increased to 93% at medium load levels, the +5v and +3.3v rails became much more stable and the ripple results from all rails was among the best for any PSU we've tested on OC3D to date. Mehr …Weniger …
Add this to the fact that the NZXT is capable of holding a massive 1088w load and we have one extremely strong PSU regardless of its colour. At £152 over at Scan, it may be on the expensive side, but if you're after a PSU for your white PC case that doesn't compromise on performance. The HALE90 850w is right up your street.

Compared to previous NZXT power supplies, the HALE90 750W offers a big improvement in efficiency, while keeping the price at a very reasonable level. I found the HALE90 750W online in the $140 to $160 range, making it the least expensive 80Plus Gold rated power supply I could find in the 750W class.
The NZXT Hale90 is priced at $139 making it cheaper than most other popular branded power supplies. Which makes it a great buy for anyone looking for a quality power supply.

This NZXT HALE90-750-M 80 + Gold Certified charmed us by his look that is unusual, its white color is so far from displeasing without forgetting that it is modular so you can adjust the amount of cables to suit your needs. Regarding the noise it made barely hear at full load.

Je mehr hochwertige und sensible Hardware man ins System steckt, umso wichtiger ist ein gutes und stabiles Netzteil. Mit dem NZXT Hale Power 90+ Modular 650 Watt ist man auf jeden Fall für längere Zeit auf der sicheren Seite. Die 650 Watt reichen auch für extreme SLI oder Crossfire Hardware und Overclocking Projekte aus.
