Mit im Vergleich von Liquid Ultra, Liquid Pro und Liquid MetalPad haben wir die MX-3 von Arctic-Cooling, den Testsieger unseres letzen WLP-Vergleiches, antreten lassen. Aber auch die beste nicht auf Flüssigmetallen basierende Wärmeleitpaste konnte die Liquid Ultra nicht in seine Schranken weisen und hatte vor allem unter Belastung des Systems deutlich das Nachsehen. Zugelegt hat die neuste Generation von Coollaboratory aber nicht nur in der Leistung, sondern auch bei der Benutzerfreundlichkeit. So ist die neue Liquid Ultra nicht nur einfacher in der Handhabung (Auftragen und Entfernen), sondern füllt erstmals auch größere Spaltmaße mühelos aus.

The heat conduction pastes Coollaboratory Liquid Pro and Ultra are already on the market for some time, but perhaps only today's test will convince you that these products are in some ways revolutionary. There is a bit more retention and attrition when using liquid metal than at conventional heat conduction paste but it is worth, because in return you get a great performance. The results which the Coollaboratory Liquid Pro and Ultra achieved speak for themselves. I think that it should be very interesting for demanding users. The same situation is it with the version MetalPad, which is also far more productive than conventional silicone pastes or more expensive products from the companies Zalman or Noctua. The Liquid Ultra is an impressive example of what materials engineering can offer in this field, a complex but extremely efficient solution ideal for extreme overclocking and liquid cooling combination with high-end system or air cooling.
With the thermal compound supplied with each kit there is not much difference in the temps after using the Coollaboratory the temps change a lot so I would say if you’re thinking of a water kit using Coollaboratory products is a must.
