The aquainlet PRO 100 ml reservoir is directly mounted onto an aquastream XT or Eheim 1046 pump. The design of the reservoir is perfectly aligned with the pump, creating a seamless unit when assembled. The guide rails for the mounting plate are also extended into the reservoir, enabling a stable mounting position below the unit's centre of gravity. This allows for trouble-free use of decoupling rubbers or a Shoggy Sandwich.

The reservoir is sealed to the pump's intake nozzle with an O-ring. Two locking mechanisms snap into the pump housing to secure the reservoir against pulling or twisting, preventing the bayonet mount from being accidentally released. Two connection threads, offset by 90 degrees (front and side), allow for flexible routing of the return line, making the reservoir ideal for tight spaces.

The aquainlet Pro 100 ml reservoir is closely related to the aqualis series and is also equipped with a tube made from borosilicate glass. Compared to the acrylic glass commonly used for cylindrical reservoirs, borosilicate glass offers very high hardness, scratch resistance, low thermal expansion, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and top are made from Delrin, connected by a stainless steel rod.
