The aquainlet Pro 150 ml reservoir is mounted directly onto an aquastream XT or Eheim 1046 pump. The reservoir's design is perfectly tailored to the pump, forming a cohesive unit upon assembly. The guide rails for the mounting plate are extended within the reservoir, allowing for a stable installation of the plate beneath the unit's center of gravity. This enables seamless use of decoupling rubbers or a Shoggy-Sandwich.

The reservoir is sealed onto the pump's suction port using an O-ring. Two latches snap into the pump housing to secure the reservoir against detachment and rotation, preventing accidental disengagement of the pump's bayonet lock. Two 90° offset connection threads (front and side) allow for flexible mounting of the return line, making the reservoir ideal even for tight spaces.

The aquainlet Pro 150 ml reservoir is closely related to the aqualis series and is also equipped with a borosilicate glass tube. Unlike acrylic glass commonly used in cylindrical reservoirs, borosilicate glass offers superior hardness and scratch resistance, minimal thermal expansion, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and cap are made of Delrin, connected by a stainless steel rod.
