The reservoirs in the aqualis series are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube, which, unlike the acrylic glass often used for tubular reservoirs, features very high hardness and scratch resistance, extremely low thermal expansion, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and top of the aqualis series are made from Delrin, with a nickel-plated brass tube connecting the top and bottom.
Note: The aqualis bases for pump adapters are equipped with connection flanges at the bottom and can only be used with a compatible Aqua Computer pump adapter! Optionally, up to two lighting modules can be installed in two G1/4 threads.
