The aqualis D5 150 ml reservoir from aqua computer is designed for direct mounting on a Laing D5 pump, which is not included in the delivery. The pump is simply secured within the reservoir base using a retaining ring and four screws. Separately available mounting grommets can also be screwed into the reservoir base, allowing for mounting to the PC case.

The reservoir itself is made of high-quality borosilicate glass, which, compared to the acrylic glass commonly used for tubular reservoirs, offers exceptional hardness and scratch resistance, very low thermal expansion, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube of this 150 ml version has an outer diameter of 50 millimeters and a wall thickness of 5 millimeters. The base and lid are made of Delrin, each featuring two G1/4-inch ports, and are connected internally by a stainless steel rod.

This version also features a nanocoating that allows water to simply bead off the inside of the glass tube. This creates a stunning visual effect that further enhances the overall appearance of the reservoir.
