aqua computer aqualis XT Reservoir, 450ml, nanocoating

The reservoirs in the aqualis series are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube, which, unlike the acrylic glass commonly used for tubular reservoirs, features very high hardness and scratch resistance, extremely low thermal expansion, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and top of the aqualis series are made from Delrin, with a nickel-plated brass tube connecting the top and bottom. An integrated water column effect serves as a visual highlight.

If the return line is connected to the central port of the aqualis, the water flows through the central brass tube to the top, exiting through eight openings, creating a stunning visual effect, especially with lighting. A thin acrylic plate near the base of the aqualis minimizes air entry into the loop. Alternatively, the return line can be connected to a side port, where the water then flows back into the reservoir from the bottom. For this configuration, a baffle plate is included, which ensures optimal air removal from the loop.

The aqualis XT variants also feature an integrated acrylic glass window in the base, accommodate up to six LEDs, and include electronic fill level monitoring with USB and aquabus interfaces, a configurable alarm output, and an external temperature sensor input. The aquasuite software is available for download for monitoring and configuration. The four-pin aquabus interface allows direct connection to an aquaero 5 controller (not included).

The alarm output can be configured either as an artificial tachometer signal for connection to a fan header with tachometer signal evaluation (e.g., on the motherboard) or as a switch output to activate an LED in case of an alarm. In addition to the measured fill level, the external temperature sensor input can also be used for alarm monitoring. The external temperature sensor input is compatible with all temperature sensors offered by Aqua Computer.

All 450 ml variants are optionally available with a nano-coating that allows water to bead off the inner surface of the glass tube. In this case, the nano-coating is present, providing a unique visual experience.
