aqua computer D5 pump adapter, aqualis base including level indicator

This D5 pump adapter from aqua computer is made from highly durable Delrin and offers flexible connection and mounting options. It is designed for use with a compatible aqualis reservoir and features an integrated fill level sensor. A stainless steel mounting bracket is included for installation inside or on the case, and support for a decoupling set is also provided (not included). A retaining ring made of anodised aluminium and a suitable gasket are supplied for securing a D5 pump.

When mounted to an aqualis base reservoir, the pump adapter and reservoir form a seamless connection. The reservoir’s fittings integrate directly into the pump module, creating a watertight seal between the two components. In this configuration, only the side-facing ports on the pump module are available for use.

The pump adapter includes a fill level sensor from the mps series. This sensor features integrated evaluation electronics with USB and aquabus interfaces, a configurable alarm output, and an external temperature sensor input. The aquasuite software is available for download to monitor and configure the sensor. The four-pin aquabus interface also allows direct connection to an aquaero 5 controller (not included).

The alarm output can be configured either as a simulated tachometer signal for connection to a fan header with RPM monitoring (e.g. on the motherboard), or as a switch output for activating an LED in the event of an alarm. In addition to the fill level, the external temperature sensor input can also be used for alarm monitoring. This input is compatible with all temperature sensors manufactured by Aqua Computer. A pressure equalisation membrane for mounting in the reservoir lid is included in the package.

When used without a reservoir, the fill level measurement function is disabled! In this case, G1/4 ports on the top and side of the pump adapter are available, and any unused ports can be sealed with the two included sealing plugs.
