Arctic Silver can undoubtedly be considered a pioneer in the segment of thermal pastes. The American manufacturer has been offering a continually updated product range of high-quality substances for many years to optimize heat transfer between the heat source and the heatsink.
With Céramique 2, Arctic Silver introduces the successor to one of the most well-known thermal pastes. The Céramique 1 is still the reference for hardcore overclockers, as it ensures optimal contact between the CPU/GPU and cooler even at temperatures well below freezing, which is essential for nitrogen overclocking.
On the other hand, in terms of thermal conductivity, the original Céramique has been surpassed by other thermal pastes. The Céramique 2 steps into this gap, combining the high-temperature stability of its predecessor with higher, more contemporary thermal transfer capabilities.
The name already reflects its composition. Containing aluminium oxide, zinc oxide, and boron nitride, it includes no metal and is therefore non-conductive, eliminating any risk if some paste gets on the circuit board and other components.
