The Ducky One 2 Backlit PBT radiates minimalist beauty along with a blend of new features and sought after design concepts that became popular with its predecessor, the Ducky One. As always Ducky has used reliable Cherry MX switches and combined them with PBT double-shot keys. These features are then packed into a slim, black and white case with a narrow and stylish frame - all rounded off by the addition of white LED background lighting.

Mechanical Cherry MX Speed Silver Switches
This Ducky One 2 Backlit PBT with white LED lighting employs Cherry MX Silver switches which benefit pro gamers with their extremely fast reaction times and the ease with which they can be pressed repeatedly. They are characterised by their 40% faster activation than normal Cherry switches and offer an impressively low activation weight of just 45 g, a trigger point of just 1,2 mm and a smooth, linear sensation.. This makes double and triple taps possible for high responsiveness and fast reactions.
Design, Aesthetics & Materials
The key caps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, and are produced using the double-shot process meaning they are significantly more durable thankeys manufactured with
ABS. In this process, plastic is poured around a shaped piece of metal or plastic so as to allow the two components to be joined together. The bottom part of the keys is made from a transparent material to enable light to pass through, while the upper layer, with the exception of the desired cut-ouots, does not allow any light to shine through, so that the letters and special characters on the keyboard light up underneath the keys.
Stylish LED Background Lighting
The LEDs can be adjusted with four different effects including Breathing, Raindrop, Reactive and Wave. The full backlight mode illuminates all keys and with the LED zone customisation mode you can create your own lighting profiles. In addition to the LED modes, the intensity of the lighting and the speed of the effects can also be set quickly and easily.
Functions & Features of the Ducky One 2 Backlit PBT Gaming Keyboard
The popular and highly sought after mechanical Cherry MX switches are virtually "indestructible" and, depending on the switch used, are ideal for an extensive array of game genres. Thanks to USB N-key rollover, any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without causing "ghosting" or other delays. The 1.000 Hz report rate in conjunction with the current USB Type C connector, into which the removable cable is plugged, ensures that data is sent from the keyboard to the PC instantaneously. The other end of the cable uses a standard Type A connector.
The powerful ARM M3 micro-controller of the Ducky One controls and saves the selected LED effects. Additionally it optimises communication between the keyboard and PC while it also enables further functions as well as the use of macros and profiles. The Ducky employs a dual-layer PCB to increase the service life of the keyboard while improving the keys' signal stability. For the keyboard to be adjusted to meet the ergonomic needs of the user, the Ducky One comes with feet that can be set three different ways: folded-in, as well as half-out and fully extended.
Note: We recommend that the firmware of the keyboard is updated to the newest version to ensure the optimum functioning of the background lighting.
