The Shine 7 is the next generation of high-quality mechanical gaming keyboards from the well-known and popular Shine series from Ducky. In fact, this variant also brings with it improvements that were considered barely possible in keyboard design until recently. The update is obvious the moment you lay eyes on the keyboard: instead of plastic or aluminium, the top cover is made from a zinc alloy, which is even harder than aluminium and thus reduces the susceptibility to scratches. This model also includes useful features such as RGB-LED backlighting, macro- and multimedia function keys and high-quality cherry switches. With virtually unlimited configurability and Ducky's unmistakable build quality, the Shine 7 series of gaming keyboards are sure to give you the edge you need over the online competition.
Thanks to USB N-key rollover any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without ghosting or other delays. The rollover function can be reduced to six keys should you prefer. The 1000 Hz polling rate of the USB port is used to send data from the keyboard to the PC every millisecond.
The Ducky Shine 7 also offers rubberized feet for an absolutely secure stand. These prevent unwanted movement while gaming and also give the keyboard a higher angle. The feet are adjustable in three increments.
The board inside the keyboard is made from dual-layered black PCB, thereby improving the long-term durability and signal stability of the keyboard. The keycaps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, are manufactured using the double shot process and have a significantly longer service life than keys manufactured with ABS. In this process, plastic is poured around a moulded piece of metal or plastic so that the two components are joined together. The lower part of the keys is made of a translucent material, while the upper layer, except for the desired recesses, does not allow any light to shine through, this makes the LEDs under the keys make the letters and special characters on the keyboard shine even brighter.
The special highlight of the Ducky keyboards is the completely softwareless configuration of the RGB lighting. All settings and changes can be made with different key combinations. Alternatively, the RGB-LED lighting can be configured with Razer's Chroma Broadcast.

Mechanical Cherry MX Silver Switches
This version of the Ducky Shine 7 uses Cherry MX Speed-Silver switches. Cherry MX Speed-Silver switches possess a very light, almost undiscernible activation point and are characterised by the low pressure needed to activate them. This makes them ideal for multiple successive clicks in FPS games for example, where a detectable activation point is not a necessity, since the keys will be depressed fully and rapidly in quick succession anyway during competitive games.Functions & Features of the Ducky Shine 7 Gaming Keyboard
The Ducky Shine 7, like the Ducky Shine 6, relies on a powerful ARM-M3 microcontroller that controls and stores functions and LED effects with absolute reliability. Additionally, it optimises communication between the keyboard and PC while enabling other functions, including the use of macros and profile memory. Thanks to USB N-key rollover any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without ghosting or other delays. Design, Aesthetics & Materials
The design of the Ducky Shine 7 has changed significantly compared to its predecessor. The decisive factor above all is the new cover, which is made of a zinc alloy. It is significantly harder than aluminium, which markedly reduces its susceptibility to scratches or cracks. This is accompanied by a design change that more closely resembles the traditional appearance of mechanical keyboards. Nevertheless, the corners and edges of the Ducky Shine 7 are clearly rounded for a modern look. The board inside the keyboard is made from dual-layered black PCB, thereby improving the long-term durability and signal stability of the keyboard. Stylish RGB LED backlight
Without a doubt, the highlight of the Ducky Shine 7 is again the professional RGB-LED lighting, with which practically infinite designs are possible. It offers a total of nine different lighting modes, one of which is more unusual than the other. Compared to its predecessors, the New Equalizer, Tetris and Alpha effects have been added. With the LED zone customisation mode, you can also create your own profiles for lighting the keys and configure them according to your wishes. In addition to the LED modes, the intensity of the illumination and the effect speed can also be set quickly and easily. The special highlight of the Ducky keyboards is the completely softwareless configuration of the RGB lighting.
