Glorious has released a must-have for keyboard enthusiasts: the GMMK 2 keyboard. This pre-built model supports 5-pin hot-swapping, offering the perfect foundation for individual customization. Equipped with Glorious Fox Switches, the Glorious GMMK 2 Pre-Built provides a classic, linear typing experience. The switches' friction resistance is minimal thanks to pre-applied lubricant. The tactile feedback ensures smooth typing and flawless acoustics. Thanks to USB-N-Key-Rollover, any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without ghosting or other delays.

The keycaps are made of doublehot ABS, making them particularly durable and abrasion-resistant. Beneath the keys are Glorious Fox Linear Switches, offering a balanced ratio of speed and control along with the satisfying sound typical of mechanical keyboards. The elegant aesthetics of the brushed, anodized aluminum top frame are highlighted by the per-key and side RGB lighting. You have 18 presets and effects to choose from. Alternatively, you can customize the lighting and many other features via the Glorious CORE software to suit your needs.

The hot-swap capable GMMK 2 is compatible with all common switches with its 5-pin sockets. The integrated plate holds the switches firmly in place, eliminating the need for soldering and preventing dust from entering the circuit board. Both the switches and keycaps can be easily removed from the frame with the included tools. This allows the keyboard to be equipped with a mix of switches that meet your needs and feedback preferences.

Robust and Compact

The Glorious GMMK 2 features an aluminum top with a polymer bottom, forming a durable and robust base. Overall, this provides a balanced weight that, combined with the rubberized feet, offers stability even in the heat of battle. The aluminum is CNC-machined with a finely anodized surface. The soft brushed look provides an elegant appearance, while the classic black color completes the look.

This is the full-size model of the Glorious GMMK 2. The clever hybrid design fits a complete set of keys into a compact frame that is only slightly larger than a TKL keyboard. This saves desk space without sacrificing keys. Additionally, the compact size is more ergonomic and comfortable for longer typing and gaming sessions as your hands have less distance to travel. For enhanced comfort, the frame is angled at 7° to reduce wrist strain. This angle can be increased to 14° using the feet.

Pre-Installed Keycaps

The Glorious GMMK 2 has double-sided printed ABS keycaps for increased durability: two layers of ABS plastic are fused together to create a seamless surface that withstands general wear and tear. This prevents wear and ensures a long-lasting product. The tops of the keycaps are clear, showcasing the RGB lighting brilliantly. Additional labels are printed on the fronts to indicate additional functions on these keys.

Arranged in the UK-ISO layout, the full-size model has 100 keys using the standard OEM profile. This profile provides an almost flat top with keys that are fairly level but still have a cylindrical curvature to match the curvature of your fingers. This maximizes grip and provides a natural typing position.

Finally, the Glorious GMMK 2 comes with a special ESC key featuring the Glorious logo. This bright yellow keycap is a striking addition to the keyboard and can be easily installed using the hot-swapping technology and the included keycap puller.

RGB Lighting and Control Software

The appearance of the Glorious GMMK 2 is completed by the impressive key lighting and diffuse side lighting. Each key has its own LEDs and is individually illuminated. The side-mounted LEDs illuminate your desk, providing a soft, atmospheric aesthetic - 18 presets leave little to be desired. Alternatively, the lighting can be customized via the Glorious CORE software for true RGB enthusiasts.

But the Glorious CORE software can do more than just light shows. The software can also be used to assign key combinations and macros to the keys, extending the functionality of the Glorious GMMK 2 to suit your needs. Although the keyboard is designed for use with Glorious CORE, it can also be customized with the open-source firmware QMK. This allows you to further customize and personalize your keyboard - the possibilities are nearly endless.
