Complete Watercooling Systems
Complete Water Cooling Systems have the advantage of already having their own small water cooling circuit. This means they do not need to be laboriously integrated into an existing water cooling circuit. Thus, they are also suitable for less experienced PC users who want to equip their CPU with water cooling. They fit into any mid-tower, provided no other components occupy the necessary space. A complete water cooling system includes a water block, a pump, and a radiator, similar to a normal water cooling circuit. While radiators and pumps are usually made of stainless steel or copper, the water blocks of complete water cooling systems can be made of various materials. Electrolytic copper is often used, which can also be nickel-plated, giving the water block a more refined appearance and protecting the copper from corrosion.
Water Block, Radiator, and Pump in a Complete Water Cooling System
The CPU water block of the complete water cooling system, which is attached to the CPU, can take on various optical forms. It is common to find complete water cooling systems where the CPU water block is illuminated with an LED. The radiators of complete water cooling systems also differ, mainly in size and the number of fans. It is important to compare the fan speed and the cooling performance generated. The pump in the complete water cooling system is usually matched to the other components. However, attention should also be paid to the flow rate or the pump's delivery volume.
Things to consider when buying a complete water cooling system:
- Is the potential performance of the complete water cooling system sufficient for the respective CPU?
- What is the pump's flow rate/delivery volume and the fan speed?
- Is there enough space in the case for a complete water cooling system?
