Montech MKey TKL Darkness: Hot-swappable mechanical gaming keyboard

After two years of meticulous planning and design, Montech has finally launched the first keyboard of its MKey line. The aim of the MKey line is to develop keyboards that provide a top-notch typing experience while also delivering an engaging story for the product itself. These keyboards are not only functional but also bring joy to the user, making typing a wonderful adventure.

Inspired by the iconic Osaka Castle in Japan, the MKey keyboard features a fantastic design that captures the essence of the castle. The MKey comes with two sets of custom keycaps that reflect the theme of Osaka Castle: Osakajo Blue Skies and Osakajo Dark. The MKey also offers the flexibility to use Cherry-compatible keycaps, giving the user complete freedom in customisation.

5-sided sublimation printing for keys that last

With Montech MKey's five-sided sublimation printing technique for vibrant and durable symbols on each key, this method ensures that the design does not fade or wear easily, providing a long-lasting and high-quality finish for each keycap that will impress even the most demanding users.

Dynamic and glorious RGB

The MKey features a total of 18 RGB lighting modes with RGB LEDs located under each key. Users can easily switch the lighting modes directly on the keyboard or via software. Unlike other competitors, the MKey uses south-facing LED switches, allowing users to switch to various shaped and styled Cherry-compatible keycaps without restrictions. This gives you the freedom to design the look of your keyboard to your liking and customise it to your taste.

MKey dial: Quick access to important functions

The MKey dial has three main modes: zooming in and out, volume control, and toggling the RGB mode. You can easily cycle through these modes by pressing the knob. The dial indicates the current mode through the integrated light ring. The dial provides users with quick access to important functions without the need for additional software or key presses.

The MKey features hot-swappable sockets from Kailh. This makes the keyboard extremely versatile, as it is compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches. With the included switch puller, you can effortlessly remove and replace the switches, tailoring the keyboard to your needs.
