With the PK-Zero, cooler specialist Prolimatech offers a slightly more affordable thermal paste compared to the extremely popular and award-winning PK-Nano series, intended for advanced applications. Depending on the area of application, this 1.5-gram tube is sufficient for several uses.
The PK-Zero is an excellent choice for optimally transferring heat from a CPU or GPU to a heatsink. Prolimatech's thermal compound can be used with their products like the Genesis or Megahalems, as well as with products from other manufacturers.
The PK-Zero, based on silicone and zinc oxide, is designed for optimal heat transfer, making it a product for gamers and home users with high standards who do not want to spend a small fortune on a convincing thermal paste. The thermal resistance is a good 0.019 °C-in²/W, and the thermal conductivity is 8 W/m-°C.
Responsible for these exceptional values are primarily the included nanoparticles made of aluminium, which settle into microscopic gaps between the heat spreader and the cooler base, preventing disruptive air pockets. Additionally, the PK-Zero is non-electrically conductive, non-corrosive, and practically does not dry out.
