The Rode RodeCaster Video combines video and audio production in a compact device. Equipped with a powerful CPU, a scene-oriented switching architecture, and a built-in audio mixer, it allows effortless control of demanding production processes. It is particularly suitable for content creators and professional users.

The RodeCaster Video offers a variety of connections for video and audio, including 6x HDMI, 2x XLR, and 6.3mm jacks. Additionally, devices such as USB webcams and USB microphones can be easily connected. Two integrated receivers also allow the use of Rode wireless transmitters instead of wired microphones.

Comfortable control thanks to intuitive operation

With the Rode RodeCaster Video, controlling your production becomes child's play. The high-resolution touchscreen and encoder enable detailed adjustment of all settings. The input and scene buttons allow for quick switching between video sources and customised scenes.

Thanks to the multiview display, you also get a comprehensive overview of all important details on one screen. It shows all inputs, scenes, and feeds in preview, as well as recording, streaming, and audio information, allowing precise control throughout the entire production.

Self-direction has never been easier

The RodeCaster Video is ideal for live streaming and offers extensive customisation options for audio and video settings. With the integrated RTMP streaming via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, you can easily broadcast your content to platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and other streaming services. Additionally, with custom audio routing, you can create individual audio mixes for the audience, headphones, and recording.

Thanks to the auto-switching technology, the camera and scene automatically switch during the live stream as soon as a new speaker takes the floor. This provides a lively and professional experience, especially in formats like video podcasts and discussions, all without the need for producer involvement.

Audio and video signals sound phenomenally good

The RodeCaster Video supports direct recordings in H.264 format on an external USB drive. Additionally, Rode incorporates the professional Aural Exciter from Aphex. When its effect is active, highs gain additional quality, and lows can also be enhanced with the Big Bottom effect. This makes voices particularly clearer and more understandable.

Furthermore, each channel features a studio-quality compressor, a noise gate, a high-pass filter, and a de-esser, all powered by Aphex. The seven scene buttons can also be freely programmed with video layers, media, and graphics.

For post-production, a comprehensive software is available on a PC or Mac connected via USB-C, which can also configure the RodeCaster Video. Recordings can be saved either directly to the computer or on a microSD card - a convenient solution for recordings on the go.
