The Lucid series from SilverStone combines their well-established reputation for technical excellent with a clear and transparent aesthetic. The LD01B is the first case in the Lucid range that pivots towards this new design philosophy. With three tempered glass side panels and stainless steel accents, this case shows off the best SilverStone has to offer when it comes to design and materials.

Elegant and Clever Design

Thanks to the inverted motherboard tray design, graphics cards and other expansion cards installed in the LD01B can now exhaust warm air directly through the fan slots located at the top of the case. The pre-installed and adjustable GPU bracket supports cards and helps prevent bending or warping under the weight of larger heatsinks. One additional advantage to the inverted layout lies in the fact that the graphics card support only comes into contact with the back of the graphics card, meaning that there can be no unwanted interference with the GPU's cooling fans. The integrated PSU- and drive shrouds contribute greatly to the tremendously clean and attractive interior of the LD01B. Bothersome cables are stowed away with ease, and this has the added benefit of improving airflow and optics to boot.

In order to simplify cable management yet further, the LD01B comes with rubberised cable pass-throughs and integrated cable guides. In terms of other noteworthy functions that the LD01B offers, it will come as a pleasant surprise to see a USB Type-C connector adorning the front of the case, as well as an easy-access dust filter, and a versatile interior that allows for the installation of a tremendous variety of components and cooling configurations.
