Product information - BC1 Benchtable - rotStreacom is a master of precision-crafted PC cases in premium aluminium, but the BC1 bench table represents a change of direction for the manufacturer. With the help of Hwbot and OverClocking-TV Streacom has succeeded in gathering some of the greats of the international overclocking community behind them. It is against the background of the "Open Benchtable Project" that Streacom didn't just develop a compact Mini-ITX or NUC case, but instead a cleverly designed, portable and open benchmarking table.
The Streacom BC1 Benchtable at a Glance:
- Compact dimensions & low weight of just 1,8 kg for maximum portability
- Folds down like a camping table to a height of just 8 mm
- No length restrictions for GPU(s), power supplies or CPU coolers
- 2x 2,5/3,5" drives + 4x 120/140er fans or 2x radiators up to 240 mm
- Tool-free install installation thanks to finger screws and rubberised feet
Open Design for Creative Expansions and Add-OnsThe word "open" takes on a double meaning when it comes to the Streacom BC1 as, not only does it allow hardware to work amidst a plentiful supply of fresh air, it also enables third parties and 3D printing hobbyists to develop and sell official accessories and add-ons for the benchtable. The other special feature of the BC1 is the manner in which is can be packed up like a camping table to enable it to be transported while completely flat. The end result is a fast, easy, simple way of transporting a full testing platform that can be assembled and disassembled at a moment's notice - a dream for overclockers!
Compact Dimensions & Extremely Light Weight for Maximum MobilityThe perfect accessory for overclockers, enthusiasts, crypto-coin miners and specialists in need of a convenient and portable benchtable for on the road will appreciate Streacom's choice of light, red, anodised and sandblasted aluminium for the base plate. As a result the 1,8 kg weight speaks for itself. The design's objective of achieving a mobile hardware platform is rounded off by the addition of a practical carry handle which allows the bench table to be transported like hand luggage.
The bench table measures just 26 cm by 37 cm by 11,5 cm when deployed and just 8 mm high when folded up. Despite its diminutive appearance it has been developed with a range of weight specification in mind. Power supplies are limited at up to 10 kg and radiators 5 kg (per bracket), while the max combined component weight sits at 25 kg.
Maximum Versatility with Diverse Hardware SupportWith support for E-ATX-, XL-ATX-, ATX-, Micro-ATX-, Mini-ITX- and even Mini-ATX-motherboards the table's owner is presented with a veritable cornucopia of possible motherboards and formats to choose from. The options relating to other hardware are truly unlimited however since neither the PSU, CPU cooler or GPU are restricted in terms of length or height. Only the number of available PCI brackets limits the number of mountable GPUs or expansion cards to a total of four.
Two 140/120 mm fans can be attached to adjustable brackets on the right and left side, and these can function as an alternative to radiators up to 240 mm. The finger screws, spacers and brackets situated in the base plate are also rubberise to ensure a secure grip on any surface. The PSU delivering power to the system is simply placed beneath the bench table and can be attached to the base plate in the orientation of your preference. Two 2,5" or 3,5" hard drives or SSDs can be easily attached to the underside opposite the PSU.
Tool-Free Installation for Maximum ComfortThanks to the thumbscrews and push-pin spacers can be installed entirely without tools, a screwdriver is thus unnecessary. All screws, spacers and brackets are made from solid steel for optimum stability. All aforementioned parts can be easily affixed to the aluminium plate while in transport, this makes transporting the benchtable to different locations even easier. A in-depth guide helps with installation and insuring that every screw and component quickly finds its place.
