Mit der hier angebotenen PCIe-Karte SST-ECS06 von Silverstone kannst du bis zu sechs SATA-Laufwerke über einen PCI-Express-Slot des Mainboards in Betrieb nehmen. Unterstützt wird das aktuelle AHCI-Protokoll sowie SATA 6G mit mit bis zu 6 Gbit/s.
Auch beim PCIe-Slot ist der Adapter mit seiner Unterstützung von PCIe 1.0/1.1, 2.0 und 3.0 sehr flexibel. Verbaut ist ein ASMedia-ASM1166-SATA-Host-Controller. Für den Einbau in kompakte Systeme, liegt ein Low Profile Bracket als Ersatz bei.
