The AntLion ModMic 5 Microphones are the perfect solution for all those who would like to perform aftermarket modifications and adaptations to their hi-fi headphones or gaming headsets, scenarios could include bypassing or replacing microphones on headsets that lack a microphone or where its integrated microphone no longer performs (or sounds) as it should. The brand new V5 implementation of the microphone boom offers an integrated dual-microphone capsule with the ability to switch between uni- or omnidirectional modes at the push of a button. The omnidirectional studio mode offers high sensitivity as well as a broad frequency range, thereby prioritising quality above all else, while the unidirectional mode enables improved noise-cancelling for use in louder surroundings.
Ingenious Magnetic Clasp with Two Base Clasps
The retrofitted AntLion ModMic V5 is a premium addition or replacement part for imperfect or incomplete headphones or headsets that is easily and conveniently attachable to the outer shell or housing. A base clamp is stuck to the headphones of your choice, and this allows the microphone boom to be magnetically attached (or removed) at your convenience. The ModMic V5 folds up or down at a 90 degree angle, and the boom itself is both flexible and malleable. Thanks to its magnetism the microphone can also be attached to a steel case for safekeeping or simply stowed away in the bundled protective case. A modular mute button for the quick and convenient deactivation of the microphone is also provided and can be attached between your microphone head unit and the 1 m or 2 m cable length provided for „inline“ operation.
