Powerful Military Design with Premium Tempered Glass Components
The Cougar Panzer midi-tower takes its design inspiration from the Cougar Panzer MAX and supplements its military appearance with the choice of two tool-less removable side windows made from tempered and tinted glass. The military-style handles on the edges of the case as well as the large tank tread-inspired mesh combine to give the case an almost sturdy, fortress-like appearance, while simultaneously enjoying a certain refinement from the addition of premium glass components. Both side windows are made from tinted and tempered glass to offer a unique view of your choice of components, and combining this with optional LED lighting only serves to heighten its already impressive aesthetics. The large mesh front of the case houses the I/O panel which is equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HD Audio connections as well as power and reset buttons.
Plenty of Space for High-End Hardware & Reliable Cooling Solutions
The uniformly black interior of the Panzer midi-tower offers an abundance of space for full-size gaming hardware. This case can support mini-ITX, micro-ATX, ATX as well as CEB motherboard form factors as well as CPU coolers up to 160 mm in height and a maximum of three graphics cards at up to 425 mm in length. Should fans be installed in the front of the case however, this clearance is reduced to 400 mm. A shroud for the power supply ensures a clean appearance while successfully isolating it from other components. This shroud also provides slots for 2,5″ drives, and total drive capacity is further supplemented with the addition of 2,5″ and 3,5″ slots located on the reverse of the motherboard tray.
A powerful gaming system also demands a similarly effective system of cooling, and for this reason Cougar has equipped this case with an abundance of cooling installation options. Up to eight fans or four radiators can be installed, a number that should suffice for even the highest of high-end gaming rigs. One 120 mm fan is pre-installed into the rear of the case to deliver the foundations for excellent airflow. Additional 120 mm and 140 mm fans can be installed in the front, roof and floor of the case as desired. Naturally radiators make a superb alternative to traditional case fans and the case is also capable of housing radiators of up to 360 mm in length. To prevent valuable components from suffering from excessive dust exposure, Cougar also provides the Panzer with a total of two dust filters located in the front and floor of the case.
