With the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite EVGA is now outperforming the competition. The GDDR5X memory of the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti series graphics card model has a memory clock rate of 6,003 MHz (effective 12,006 MHz) which is 9 percent faster than the standard set by reference cards. With these specs EVGA’s FTW3 Elite beats out the entire competition. Even the NVIDIA Titan Xp has a slower memory clock rate of only 5,700 MHz.

The 9 percent increase in the memory clock rate compared to the reference design also results in a higher memory bandwidth. The storage bandwidth of the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite is 528 GB/s, instead of only 484 GB/s.

Efficient cooling for the high-end graphics card

EVGA relies on iCX cooler technology plus backplate to keep the monster running at acceptable temperatures. You can choose between the colours black or white for the fan covers. The three axial fans with „Optimized Swept Fan Blades“, double ball bearings and low-power motors provide outstanding temperature control in combination with a reduced noise level.

The graphics card uses nine temperature sensors to control the fans. These can be easily monitored by the user via the PrecisionX OC software. Alternatively, a glance at the graphics card can also suffice, as the built-in thermal display under the EVGA logo changes colour depending on the temperature. Together with RGB lighting of the lettering and the heat sink, the thermal display is the eye-catcher of the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite.
