Dual-System Overclocked to the Limit with a Triple Custom-Water Cooling Loop

Overclocking legend Ian „8Pack“ Parry presents with the „OrionX“ a dual-system overclocked to the limit containing three custom watercooling loops and extreme high-end hardware to allow it to lay claim to the mantle of the most powerful system in the world. Originally designed for Computex 2016 for the sole purpose of presenting the best in the world in terms of design and performance that could fit inside a modified Phanteks Enthoo Elite and consisting exclusively of hand-picked components and that could have its temperatures controlled by a triple custom-watercooling loop.

The primary and secondary systems are overclocked to the limit for unsurpassed performance. Such massive increases in performance naturally leads to an increase in heat production, for this reason the system demands to be cooled by three independent custom watercooling loops as well as controllable fans and pumps. With high-performance components sourced from premium manufacturers such as ASUS, Phanteks, NVIDIA, Intel and many more, 8Pack has been a true highlight – and the OrionX itself has attracted a great deal of attention on YouTube as well as within the IT industry, but last and not least, by Forbes Online as they decreed the OrionX as the single best system at Computex.

Triple Custom-Watercooling with an Attention to Detail

The 8Pack OrionX Extreme Overclocking Dual-System Having overclocked this exceptional system to the very limit, 8Pack decided to integrate an equally extreme level of custom watercooling that consists of three independent cooling loops and premium components from EK Water Blocks, Aqua Computer and Mayhem. In addition to this the Phanteks Enthoo Elite has been modified in some astonishing ways and equipped with its own custom-manufactured acrylic plates (partly with the 8Pack logo) to allow the system’s liquid coolants to wind their way through the case and put the whole system into the limelight

The three cooling loops can be controlled individually and independently from one another and are correspondingly designed for different areas. The cooling loops with the grey and silver-coloured coolant are responsible for the CPU, the M.2 NVME PCIe SSD as well as the three graphics cards of the primary system, while the red coolant cools the CPU of the secondary system. A particular highlight is the large reservoir in the shape of the 8PAck logo in addition to the three very quiet pumps located in the forward area of the case. This is the location where all liquid coolants come together and create a unique kind of chart, something that has never been done before in a system of this kind.

The Motivation Behind the OrionX

The 8Pack OrionX was originally created for Computex 2016 with the single and sole purpose of creating a pioneering PC, one that would fit in a modified Phanteks Enthoo Elite and consisted exclusively of hand-picked components, whose cooling would then be provided by a triple custom water cooling loop.

The primary and secondary systems are both overclocked to the limit and unsurpassed in performance terms. Such increase increases in performance naturally lead to increased heat production, and for that reason three independent water cooling loops as well as controllable fans and pumps were installed to provide cooling.

With high-performance components sourced from premium manufacturers, 8Pack has been a true highlight – and the OrionX itself has attracted a great deal of attention on YouTube as well as within the IT industry, but last and not least, by Forbes Online as they decreed the OrionX as the single best system at Computex.
