The Alpenföhn Matterhorn 2 Aurora Max is a powerful dual-tower CPU cooler designed for gaming and high-end systems. Six heatpipes and two 120 mm fans support high heat dissipation of up to 250 W TDP. ARGB lighting on the fans and top cover also visually enhances the cooler.
- 250 W TDP: High cooling capacity for powerful CPUs
- Dual-Tower: Large cooling surface for high heat output
- 2x 120 mm ARGB: Strong airflow with lighting
- 6 Heatpipes: Efficiently distribute heat within the cooler
- Copper base: Transfers CPU heat directly to the cooler
Dual-tower design for high cooling performance
The Matterhorn 2 Aurora Max uses two fin towers to provide a large surface area for heat dissipation. Six 6 mm heatpipes evenly transport CPU heat to both cooling towers. The asymmetrical design improves compatibility with surrounding components. Alpenföhn specifies a cooling capacity of up to 250 W TDP.
Two 120 mm PWM fans for strong airflow
Two 120 mm fans operate at 500 to 1,800 RPM and can be controlled via PWM. Each fan achieves an airflow of up to 120.34 m³/h and a static pressure of 2.43 mmH2O. This allows the cooler to flexibly adjust its performance according to the CPU temperature. Hydraulic bearings support smooth operation at varying speeds.
ARGB lighting and broad socket compatibility
Both fans and the top cover feature addressable RGB lighting for a customised system look. The lighting is connected to a compatible motherboard via a 3-pin ARGB connector. Supported sockets include AMD AM5 and AM4 as well as numerous current Intel sockets. Thermal paste and the required mounting materials are included in the delivery.
