Acrylic Tubes
Acrylic Tubes / Rigid Tubes
In conventional tubing of water cooling systems, flexible tubes made from various materials have been used so far, with rigid tubing sections being rare exceptions, such as between multiple graphics cards in a multi-VGA setup. Rubber tubes are pleasantly flexible but often not as precisely installable, or they don't stay where they belong. A relatively new approach that is sufficiently tested involves rigid tubes made of acrylic.
Colored Acrylic Tubes for Every Use Case and Style
The acrylic tubes are rigid and not flexible in their original state but can be cut to the desired length. So how are they adapted to the custom water cooling components in the computer? The solution is heat. When the acrylic tubes are heated, they become flexible at a certain point. Now they can be routed as desired. After cooling, the fixed shape is permanently transferred to the tube, eliminating tensions. As with regular tubing, there are different outer and inner diameters (OD/ID) of the acrylic tubes, as well as color variants for every taste. Whether neon green or dark blue, with or without UV effect, you will find the acrylic tube in the right length and required diameter in your desired color!
