Fan Accessories – Everything You Need for Optimal Fan Installation
Fans are virtually ubiquitous in computers. They are either directly responsible for transporting heat away from components and out of the case or indirectly by being used on radiators of water cooling systems. However, for the fans in the case to run as the user intends, additional accessories are often necessary.
Everything You Need for Operating Your Fans
For example, it is essential to ensure that the fans are mounted in the correct position. Special fan clips (or fan clamps) allow attachment to a specific CPU or graphics card cooler, and fan screws are available for securing the fans to fan slots in the case. Anti-vibration decouplers (rubber pins or frames) enable even quieter operation of the fans by preventing the transfer of vibrations to the case. If a fan of a specific size needs to be used, but the appropriate fan mount size is not available, fan adapters can help. Adapters, in another sense, can also be found among the cables in the accessories section; for example, a power adapter can reduce the power supply voltage from 12 to 7 or 5 volts for a lower rotational speed, or a Y-splitter cable can allow two (or more) fans to be operated from a single connection. Controllers can also be used to control multiple fans and their speeds. Hubs usually act as distributors, relaying a signal from the motherboard to multiple fans. We also offer a wide range of extension cables, allowing you to place fans effortlessly even in the largest cases.
