The Alpenföhn Matterhorn 2 is a powerful tower CPU cooler designed for gaming PCs and demanding high-end systems. With up to 200 W TDP, it offers high cooling reserves for powerful processors. Its compact design also allows for full RAM installation on compatible motherboards.

Four heatpipes for direct heat transfer

Four heatpipes, each 6 mm in diameter, conduct processor heat into the cooling tower. Thanks to the heatpipe direct touch technology, they lie directly against the CPU contact surface, transferring heat without unnecessary intermediate layers. Airflow-optimised aluminium fins then distribute the heat over a large surface area. The black coating additionally supports heat dissipation.

120 mm PWM fan for cooling on demand

The included 120 mm fan operates between 500 and 1,800 rpm. Via the 4-pin PWM connector, your motherboard automatically adjusts the speed according to the CPU temperature. Up to 120.34 m³/h airflow and 2.43 mmH2O static pressure ensure a powerful airflow through the heatsink. The hydraulic bearing supports smooth operation.

Compact design with broad socket compatibility

With a height of 158 mm, the Matterhorn 2 fits into numerous compatible mid-tower and larger PC cases. The space-saving cooler design leaves the RAM slots free, facilitating the use of fully populated memory configurations. Supported sockets include AMD AM5 and AM4 as well as Intel LGA 1954, 1700, 1200 and 115X. Thermal paste is included in the delivery.
