Other quick-releases can negatively affect water flow. Therefore, the quick coupling has been fundamentally revised to ensure that water flow is hardly disturbed. Particular emphasis was placed on minimal manufacturing tolerances.

The ES quick-releases from Alphacool simplify the setup of server and workstation systems. Thanks to the user-friendly operation, complex systems can be connected quickly and effortlessly. To open the quick-release, the outer ring is pulled back. The seal closes immediately and prevents coolant from escaping. To lock the quick-releases, simply plug them together. A clicking sound confirms the secure closure.
