Arctic MX-4 2019 Edition Thermal Paste - 8g

Arctic, formerly known as Arctic Cooling, is primarily known for its very quiet and affordable CPU coolers. To make the transfer of heat from the processor to the cooler as efficient as possible, the engineers did not rely on third-party products, but instead developed their own thermal paste. In addition to high performance, practicality was the main focus.

In the meantime, Arctic has launched a whole range of thermal pastes and is consistently continuing the evolution with the MX-4. The thermal conductivity has been increased from 8.2 W/mK to 8.5 W/mK compared to the MX-3. With eight grams, there is enough in the syringe for several applications.

Furthermore, the thermal paste does not contain metallic ingredients and consists of carbon microparticles. The main advantage of this composition is that the paste is non-conductive and an accidental short circuit is excluded if the paste gets onto other parts of the hardware. This makes application significantly more relaxed. Additionally, the Arctic MX-4 2019 Edition lasts eight years after application.

The manufacturer also pays attention to sustainability in packaging: During the production of the new, recyclable packaging, environmental emissions were reduced by 40 percent. The new packaging is also lighter than before.
