The ASRock B650 Steel Legend WIFI is equipped with the B650 chipset for AMD's Ryzen 7000 processors and offers numerous features for enthusiasts and gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and enhanced power delivery, the 600 series motherboards use the AM5 socket (LGA 1718). The 20 Gbit/s data transfer via USB 3.2 Type C connection is also extremely useful for fast data transfers between the PC and portable SSDs.

Despite the higher pin count on AM5, the actual size of the socket remains identical to the older generation, allowing most CPU coolers for AM4 sockets to be mounted on the motherboard.

The motherboard is designed for overclocking, so you can enjoy demanding games. The voltage regulators with 16 virtual phases provide 80 A for stable power delivery to the CPU, ensuring its high clock rates can be maintained over extended periods.
