ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E APEX: ATX motherboard with AMD AM5 socket and X870E chipset
The ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E APEX is equipped with the high-end X870E chipset for AMD's Ryzen 9000 series processors and comes with numerous features for overclockers and gaming enthusiasts. The proven AM5 socket (LGA 1718) is also used for the Ryzen 9000 series processors.
Additionally, the AMD X870E motherboard offers USB 4.0, which is now available as standard and achieves data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbit/s. Furthermore, the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E APEX supports PCIe 5.0, providing double the bandwidth for graphics cards and NVMe SSDs compared to PCIe 4.0.

The motherboard is designed for overclocking, allowing you to enjoy demanding games. The voltage regulators provide a stable power supply to the CPU, ensuring high clock rates over an extended period. The Clear CMOS feature allows for easy resetting of these settings if something goes wrong. As usual, DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to higher clock rates.
