The ASUS TUF Gaming A620M-Plus WiFi is equipped with the A620 chipset for AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors and offers numerous features for gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 series processors require a new socket due to PCIe 5.0 support and enhanced power delivery, the AM5 socket (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series motherboards.
Despite the increased pin count, the actual size of the socket remains the same as older sockets, allowing most CPU coolers designed for AM4 sockets to be mounted on the motherboard.
