The AXAGON CRE-SM4NC StandReader reads contact-based smart cards, electronic ID cards, and other chip cards. You connect it directly to compatible computers, smartphones, and tablets via the fixed USB-C cable. Its stable base makes regular use at the workplace easier.

Secure reading of contact-based chip cards

The card reader supports smart cards according to ISO 7816 as well as ATM, CAC, ID, IC, and SIS cards. It is therefore suitable for electronic identity cards, identification systems, and compatible bank cards. A suitable application must be installed on the connected device for each respective card.

Fast connection via USB-C

The reversible USB-C connector can be plugged in without orientation. Plug-and-play enables setup without additional drivers. Power is supplied directly via USB, so no separate power supply is needed.

Stable base for daily use

The 1.2 m long connection cable offers ample freedom of movement on the desk. A non-slip base reduces unwanted movement when inserting the card. The LED briefly indicates card status and data access without staying lit continuously.

Note: The reader supports only contact-based cards with visible contacts. Contactless RFID cards cannot be used.
