Versatile customisation options with hot swap

Glorious has released a must-have for keyboard enthusiasts: the GMMK 2 keyboard. This pre-built model supports 5-pin hot-swapping, providing the perfect foundation for personalised customisation. Equipped with Glorious Fox switches, the Glorious GMMK 2 Pre-Built offers a classic, linear typing experience.

The friction resistance of the switches is minimal thanks to pre-applied lubricant. The tactile feedback ensures smooth typing and flawless acoustics. Thanks to USB N-Key rollover, an unlimited number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without ghosting or other delays.

Assembled for you, ready for immediate action

The keycaps are made from doubleshot ABS, making them especially durable and abrasion-resistant. Beneath the keys are Glorious Fox Linear switches, which offer a balanced combination of speed and control, along with the satisfying and typical typing sound of mechanical keyboards.

The elegant aesthetics of the top frame, made from brushed, anodised aluminium, are highlighted by RGB lighting per key and along the sides. You have 18 presets and effects to choose from. Alternatively, lighting and many other functions can be individually customised to your needs via the Glorious CORE software.

The hot-swap capable GMMK 2 is compatible with all common switches thanks to its 5-pin sockets. The integrated plate holds the switches firmly in place, so no soldering is required and no dust can enter the PCB. Both the switches and keycaps can be easily removed from the frame using the included tools. This allows the keyboard to be equipped with a mix of switches tailored to your preferences and feedback needs.

Robust and compact

The Glorious GMMK 2 features an aluminium bezel with a polymer underside, providing a durable and sturdy base. Overall, this creates a balanced weight which, combined with rubberised feet, ensures stability even in the heat of battle. The aluminium is CNC-machined and has a finely anodised surface. The soft brushed finish gives an elegant look, while the classic black colour rounds off the appearance.

This is the compact model of the Glorious GMMK 2. Thanks to its clever hybrid design, a full key set fits into a compact frame that is only slightly larger than a mini keyboard without cursor keys. This saves desk space without sacrificing keys. Additionally, the compact size is more ergonomic and comfortable for longer typing and gaming sessions, as your hands have less distance to travel. For improved comfort, the frame is angled at 7° to relieve the wrists. This angle can be increased to 14° using the feet.

Pre-installed keycaps

The Glorious GMMK 2 comes with doubleshot ABS keycaps to increase durability: two layers of ABS plastic are fused together to create a seamless surface that withstands general wear and tear. This prevents signs of wear and ensures a long-lasting product. The tops of the keycaps are transparent, allowing the RGB lighting to shine through brilliantly. Additional legends are printed on the front sides to indicate extra functions on these keys.

Arranged in the ES-ISO layout, the compact model has 67 keys using the standard OEM profile. This profile provides a nearly flat top surface, where the keys are mostly level but still have a cylindrical curvature to match the shape of your fingers. This maximises grip and ensures a natural typing position.

Finally, the Glorious GMMK 2 features a special ESC key adorned with the Glorious logo. This bright yellow keycap is a striking addition to the keyboard and can be easily installed thanks to the hot-swapping technology and the included keycap puller.

RGB lighting and control software

The look of the Glorious GMMK 2 is completed by impressive key lighting as well as diffuse side lighting. Each key has its own LED and is individually lit. The side-mounted LEDs illuminate your desk, creating a soft, atmospheric aesthetic – 18 presets leave little to be desired. Alternatively, the lighting can be customised for true RGB enthusiasts via the Glorious CORE software.

But the Glorious CORE software can do more than just lighting effects. It can also be used to assign key combinations and macros to the keys, expanding the functionality of the Glorious GMMK 2 and tailoring it to your personal needs.

Although the keyboard is designed for use with Glorious CORE, it can also be customised with the open-source QMK firmware. This allows you to personalise your keyboard in even greater detail – your imagination is almost the only limit.
