The EDGE GOLD power supplies from Lian Li build on the success of the EDGE Platinum series. They combine the proven design with high performance and practical usability. The unique L-shaped design and the detachable USB and PWM fan hub make these PSUs ideal for dual-chamber case designs, such as the iconic Lian Li O11 series.
Designed specifically for such PC cases, the EDGE GOLD PSUs are perfect for vertical installation in the secondary chamber. The layout directs the connectors outward, simplifying cable management and ensuring a clean, organised build.
Lian Li EDGE HUB: Flexible Detachable USB and PWM Fan Hub
The Lian Li EDGE Gold power supplies come with a detachable USB and PWM fan hub that offers versatile connectivity options. It can be attached directly to the PSU or operated via a PCIe power interface within the case, depending on your needs. With four internal USB 2.0 headers and six 4-pin PWM connectors, the hub supports a wide range of devices, including RGB controllers and fans. Integrated magnets allow the hub to be placed flexibly inside the case, making installation and maintenance easier.
80 PLUS Gold Certification and High-Quality Electrical Components
The EDGE series fully complies with ATX 3.0 / 3.1 standards, ensuring compatibility with the latest components. Stable Dual-Coloured PCIe 5.1 Connector for Graphics Cards
Lian Li has developed proprietary 12V-2x6 connectors based on the PCIe 5.1 standard. These connectors provide a safer and more efficient power delivery compared to older 12VHPWR connectors.
The design features soldered terminal connections for improved power stability and a gold coating to prevent short circuits. The connectors also have a dual-coloured casing to help ensure they are securely plugged in. With an increased material thickness of 0.25 mm, they achieve lower contact resistance.
The connectors maintain a contact resistance of less than 1.5 mΩ after 50 connection cycles. Compared to standard connectors, which range between 2 and 3 mΩ, this is a significant improvement, enhancing both the performance and long-term reliability of the connectors.
Efficient Cooling and Whisper-Quiet Operation with Mesh, Dust Filter, and Semi-Passive Fan
The PSU's steel housing features a large mesh panel on one side. This open design efficiently dissipates heat, while a removable dust filter makes cleaning straightforward and keeps the PSU's interior clean. The 120 mm PWM fan operates exceptionally quietly, thanks to its semi-passive Zero-DB mode, which shuts the fan off completely during low loads for whisper-quiet operation.
