Noctua NF-A15 PWM Fan - 140 mm

The NF-A15 is a quiet 140 mm premium fan with a round AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame and 120 mm mounting holes (105 mm spacing). The width has been increased to 150 mm for even better cooling performance on modern high-end CPU coolers. Advanced aerodynamic design measures, such as Flow Acceleration Channels, allow the NF-A15 to deliver improved silent performance over the already highly acclaimed NF-P14.

The NF-A15 was specifically developed for use on modern high-end CPU coolers: its 150 mm width matches most current heatsinks, and with a height of 140 mm, the fan does not protrude upwards, ensuring excellent case compatibility. The 120 mm mounting holes (105 mm spacing) also make the NF-A15 an ideal upgrade for 120 mm case or CPU fans.

The NF-A15's impeller is equipped with Flow Acceleration Channels on the suction side. By accelerating the airflow in critical outer regions of the fan blades, suction side flow separation is reduced, which leads to increased efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emissions.

Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame features integrated vibration dampers, a stepped inlet design, and inner surface microstructures, which enhance the fan's performance/noise efficiency even further.

The anti-vibration pads, made from extra-soft silicone, reduce the transmission of even the slightest vibrations and are compatible with all standard screws as well as common mounting systems or fan clips used on CPU coolers.

The NF-A15 PWM supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's new, custom-designed NE-FD1 chip. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimises PWM switching noises, making the fan even quieter at lower speeds.

The NF-A15 is equipped with the further optimised second generation of Noctua's proven SSO bearing system. In SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the fan axis, providing even better stabilisation, which results in improved precision and durability.

Despite its improved performance, the NF-A15's power consumption is only 0.96 W, a reduction of around 20% compared to the previous model. This makes the NF-A15 not only environmentally friendly but also helps to reduce your energy bill!
