Noctua's NT-H2 is a professional TIM solution for enthusiasts who do not want to compromise on excellent performance or maximum application comfort. A hybrid configuration of different micro-particles allows for minimal thermal resistance, easy handling, and excellent long-term stability.
Compared to its predecessor, the
mixture of metal oxide microparticles has been further improved. This has resulted in an overall lower thermal resistance and a lower layer thickness under pressure. Particularly with CPUs that have a high TDP, a significantly higher performance has been achieved.
Like its predecessor, the
NT-H2 thermal paste has been specially optimised for use in the PC sector and delivers excellent results thanks to its very good wetting and distribution properties.
The paste spreads excellently under pressure and therefore does not need to be spread on the heat spreader. This not only reduces paste consumption but also the installation effort: A drop of
NT-H2 in the centre of the CPU, place the cooler on top - done! It quickly reaches its full performance and does not require a longer burn-in time.
Of course, neither solvents nor other substances with low boiling points are included, and the thermal paste has excellent long-term stability. Thanks to the outstanding curing, bleeding, dry-out, and thermal cycling characteristics, the
Noctua NT-H2 can also be used without any issues for several years.
Additionally, it has an extremely low dielectric constant and a high electrical breakdown strength. Therefore, there is no risk of short circuits when used in the PC sector, even with direct contact with circuit paths or components.
The
NT-H2 is suitable for use with copper and aluminium coolers and is fully compatible with all commonly used materials in the PC sector.
Warning! Please pay attention to the manufacturer's safety instructions before use!
