The NT06-PRO-V2 is a cooler based on the NT06-E but redesigned. It features optimised heatsink fins that are soldered onto six 6 mm thick copper heat pipes; this allows for more contact and produces more efficient heat dissipation. You also receive a new compact 120 mm PWM fan with an excellent balance between air circulation and noise emission; it enables forced heat dissipation with the ability to cool components around the CPU area. For users who require powerful cooling with specific space requirements, the NT06-PRO-V2 is the best choice.
The classic top-flow cooler boasts a robust six 6 mm thick heat pipes and, despite its extremely low height of just 82 mm, is suitable for small HTPC cases while cooling the CPU completely silently, depending on the setup, with the included 120 mm fan or even a second optional 120 mm fan. The active cooling also promotes the removal of heat from the fins in the lower area of the cooler, allowing for efficient heat dissipation.
The copper contact surface absorbs heat from the processor and transfers most of it directly to the six heat pipes. The residual heat is then further transferred upwards to the fine aluminium fins in the large cooling area, which are subsequently cooled by the (optionally) mounted 120 mm fan in the case, providing the majority of the cooling.
The cooler also supports modern Intel sockets 1155, 1156, 1200, 1366, 2011(-V3) and 2066, as well as AMD sockets AM2(+), AM3(+), AM4, FM1, and FM2!
Note: Operation without a fan is only suitable for HTPC systems or computers with very low-power processors with a maximum 65 W TDP. When using a high-performance CPU, there should be very good airflow in the case, and an additional 120 mm fan should be installed on the cooler.
