After years of observing the market, Alphacool solves a well-known problem with the Eiszapfen PRO Hardtube Fittings: temperatures just above 60°C can cause PETG hard tubes to deform. This particularly affects the connections at the outputs of the CPU or the graphics card water cooler. The Eiszapfen PRO Hardtube Fitting fits all hard tubes with an outer diameter of 13 mm. They are compatible with PETG, acrylic, brass, and even glass tubes. Furthermore, the tensile strength is very high. Tests showed that 8 kg posed no problem.
For a secure fit, the fitting has an O-ring and a compression seal. The inlay and compression seal are arranged as follows: in combination, they exert high pressure on the hard tubes from the inside and outside. With this inlay, the installation changes. First, the union nut is pushed onto the hard tube, followed by the compression seal. Then the inlay is attached. Finally, the fitting is screwed on as usual.
