The measurement of water temperature in a custom water cooling system serves two purposes: Firstly, it acts as the best indicator of cooling performance, making the measurement ideal for precise control. Secondly, some control devices enable temperature-dependent regulation of the pump and connected fans.
For this purpose, Alphacool offers this practical Eiszapfen Temperature Sensor, which is simply screwed into a G1/4-inch fitting and seals it like a stop plug. It can be used, for example, on the radiator, reservoir, or a T-piece. The included external thread adapter can be removed.
The chrome-coloured thread of the temperature sensor is fully encapsulated and galvanised. Therefore, there are no issues with corrosion. The connection cable with a 2-pin connector is 50 cm long. Alphacool adheres to the common standard, making the sensor compatible with many devices available on the market.
