The reservoirs of the aqualis series are equipped with a tube made of borosilicate glass, which, unlike the acrylic glass commonly used for tube reservoirs, has very high hardness and scratch resistance as well as very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
The glass tube of the 150 ml variant has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid of the aqualis series are made of Delrin, with the lid and base being connected by a stainless steel rod. A stainless steel baffle above the inlet opening in the reservoir ensures good venting of the circuit.
