The features of the ULTITUBE D5 50 Reservoir in detail

The ULTITUBE 50 Reservoir from aqua computer is equipped with a tube made of borosilicate glass. In contrast to commonly used Plexiglas, borosilicate glass has very high hardness and scratch resistance. Additionally, it has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and expands very little when heated.

Both ends of the glass tube are securely connected to metal rings made of black anodised aluminium, which do not come into contact with the coolant. Due to the clever design, internal struts or additional tubes are not necessary. The lid and base of the ULTITUBE 50 are made of durable acetal and are screwed together with the aluminium rings and the tube.

The glass tube has a wall thickness of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 65 mm. In the base of the Reservoir, a filter made of stainless steel wire mesh is integrated. The filter retains particles and eliminates annoying air bubbles. The filter element is easily removable and can be cleaned under running water. The seal in the lid of the Reservoir is designed as a rubber moulding for easy assembly, ensuring secure positioning when screwing on the lid.
